Anna Marie Martinez, age 83, of Pearland, Texas passed away on Saturday April 7, 2018. Anna was born November 12, 1934 in Hattau, Austria.
Anna was predeceased by her father and mother, Mathias and Dorothea Kainhofer of St. Johann, Austria and two brothers, Rudy and Adolph Kainhofer, and sister Doris Kainhofer. She was predeceased by her husband Jose Martinez after 52 wonderful years of marriage from May 17, 1957. They were married in Bamberg, Germany.
To cherish memories Anna leaves her son Peter and Diane Martinez, daughter Dorothy Martinez, and grandchild Jaclyn Martinez.
Anna would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received an offer she couldn't pass up and she will not be returning. This offer comes with a huge bonus, a reunion with her beloved husband Joe, family and friends that she hasn't seen in a long time.
Anna's new journey will take her to a wonderful place where she will get to enjoy dancing with Joe, and will get to work in her lovely flower garden again where she spent most of her time. Anna will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, sweet voice, and caring heart.

A visitation for Anna will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:30 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 12:30 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038.
