Antonio Mingalone Obituary
Antonio was preceded in death by his father, Vito Mingalone and brother, Guliano Mingalone of Accettura, Italy. To cherish his memory he leaves his wife, Les Longoria Mingalone; four daughters, Carolina Lucia, Rachela Natascia, Anna-Maria, and Isabella Carmela; step-daughter, Erica Renee Garza; granddaughter, Liliana Lydia Perez; mother, Anna Maria Montesano; brother, Rocco Mingalone; sister, Carmela Mingalone; and extended family, Orlando Antonio Perez. Antonio's family will be accompanying him to his final resting place in Accettura, Italy.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. in the Miller Funeral Chapel, 7723 Beechnut, Houston, TX 77074. Condolences may be offered at www.millerfuneral.com

I had the pleasure of working for Mr. Mingalone at his beautiful restaurant downtown...and at this late date I still wanted to say how grateful I was for the confidence and satisfaction he put in my work. As I recall, he had big plans to move forward with new innovative ideas at the restaurant...and I was busy designing artwork for him...but those new dreams were not to be. I regret not being informed of his passing at the time (now, eight years ago) My deepest condolences to his beloved wife, Leslie. I was also very grateful to read, just now, that it was stated "he went to be with the Lord". Oh, dear friend, if you haven't already done so, give yourself to Christ: the hope of the entire world.

Our hearts go out to your family. We know that Antonio was well loved and respected. He had great character. One of his accomplished restaurants is where I met my loving husband and the reason I have my family today. I am at a loss for words. Our sympathy is with your family during your time of grieving.
