I met and knew Jean at a very early age and at that age I looked to her as a big sister that I never had. Her sister Sarah and I have been and will always be very close. Sarah's lost is my lost and the older sister that I had in Jean is gone and now a memory forever in my heart.

The name "Jean" will forever be engraved in my mind, heart and soul. God performed His first surgery when He took a rib from Adam and made a woman. Again in my life He has performed another maajor surgery when He cut My Sister Artis Jean Johnson Out Of My Life. Jean was so loved and will be so missed by me. I believe time will heal all wounds. Im not saying time can talk, but that time will tell. I will be waiting for God to dry away all my tears. "Loving Memories Forever Your Sister Doll"

Grandma it made a week today and I haven't stopped thinking about you yet. I find myself walking in the room attempting to check on you. Your pictures are still up on the bar next to one big nice flower! Everybody stops to read the posters Aunt Doll and Monique made. I went to church on Sunday and I didn't want to go to the alter, but my body got up and my feet started moving. I went to church alone so Pastor Deese made the entire church stand behind me while he prayed for me. I cried all the way home because every Sunday before that one I'd come talk to you afterwards about the good word. It hurts to know that we won't verbally speak again. I'm cool with that though Grandma I know you walk with me spiritually everyday now. More than in life. All I know is I got my angel NOW!!! I love you Grandma Jean I will NEVER forget a moment with you. You're a FIGHTER. I'll be a FIGHTER.
