To the family and friends of Barry:

We worked together at the Texas Medical Center. He possessed such a high degree of professionalism and charisma. In addition to my prayers being with you, I hope you're able to take with you the spirit of how he treated his friends and the people that he came into contact with; namely respectfully and responsibly. To apply the biblical command, he treated others the way he liked to be treated: Kindly.

Again, my prayers and condolences are with you. You have a lot to be extremely proud about in Barry.

Barry was so kind to gladly open his home to my friends and I on so many occassions. I still can't believe he is gone. He was such a kind and humble person. He will be missed and I will keep his family and friends in my prayers.

September 26, 2003

Barry was such a special person and friend to me. We new one another for 13 years and within those years developed a long lasting and loving relationship. He had such a huge heart for his friends and family and would often try and take care of everybody.

All I want for my Boo is peace and for him to know that he left behind wonderful memories and kindness that I want to pass on. He has been such a huge part of my life and a chunk of my heart that I will never forget and always love.

My prayer is that God will rain blessings on the Branch family and his son Camren.

Now Barry will not have to run around so much, but just rest.

I look forward to seeing his beautiful smile again.

With Love,

Donna Barrett

To The Branch Family:

Barry was a respectable, caring and loving man, who had a smile that warmed your heart. I met barry about 8 years ago, and would occasionally see him out and it was like we never lost contact. I never had a chance to meet his family, but he spoke highly of them, especially his baby sister. I'm truly saddened by his lost, but know he is in a wonderful place. I will continue to pray for the family in this trying time.

Just Remember:

Those who bloom in the hearts of others never fade away. May you find comfort and strength in your memories.

It has been nearly 17 years since we walked the hallways of Mac Arthur, but I still remember how Barry used to walk from class to class carrying his briefcase smiling from ear to ear. Barry was a true friend then, and he will be deeply missed. My prayers and thoughts extend to his family.

I also attended the "Payne" and played basketball with Barry. He was a well raised kid with great manners. Had a "cool" confidence about himself.

When he came to Howard Payne University I had finish up my elgibility there and remain as a student assistant coach. I met Barry and notice that he was different from a lot of the other athletes. He was very studious, also showed respect and common courtesy for others.

This is a trait I know is going me be missed.

To the family of Barry: May God keep you strong and steadfast in faith through this time of grief.

Approximately six years ago a tall, handsome young man moved across the street from me and my now ex-husband. He became one of the best neighbors you could ever want. I met his mother shortly after that and then I understood why he was such a great person! When he changed his phone number he walked across and gave me the new number and said "If you ever need me, I'm just a phone call away". I received so much comfort from that and began to count on him being just a phone call away. Now I cannot express in words, the emptiness and sadness I'm experiencing in knowing that he's no longer a phone call away. Mrs. Branch my thoughts, prayers, and heart are with you and Mr. Branch and the family and in the words of Barry, I'm just a phone call away if there's ever anything I can do.

A Poem For Barry

Saying Goodbye

Go now, my child, the time has come.

All task today are done.

There are others waiting there for you,

and songs yet to be sung.

Go quietly, go softly,

Leave all pain and fear behind.

Today has left A part of you in

or hearts, our souls and minds.

We will remember that you made us

smile, Although, it makes us weep.

As you go to face your future,

As you go to touch the sky Know that

God makes all things possible, Angles never die.

Go now, my child, the time has come.

All worldly tasks are done.

There are others waiting there for

you, And songs yet to be sung.

Sadly I am unable to attend in person but I am surely there in spirit!! Barry was a caring friend and father. I will miss Barry's kind nature and his beaming smile!! Dealing with the sadness of his passing it helps to think about all the great times my friends and I had spending time with Barry. The last time I saw Barry is when my husband and I were getting married in Texas. Barry opened up his home to us and we held a reception there after the ceremony. One of the best moments in that day was when Barry was driving me to the chapel and I was a so nervous. He leaned over and held my hand and gave me that Sweet smile as he said how beautiful I looked and I was going to be fine. I will cherish all the wonderful memories we shared as friends. Barry's family and son are in my thought's and prayers!!

God Bless

As the person who trained him in his first position, I will miss him. However, I realize that he's gone to a better place.

To the Family,

Please stay encouraged, God is in control of all and knows all. We may not be able to understand today what has happened, but be assured God knows.

Barry, was a good friend of mine, we only met 4 years ago when he worked for TMC but we have continued to be good friends.

To his son, he loves and loved you very much and always spoke of you.

I know he is at peace in his life and would say, "Be Happy and enjoy life."

God Bless.
