Visitation (Saturday) January 21, 2017 from 10-10:55 a.m., Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m., both services will be held at Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church S.E. Campus 7701 Jutland Rev. Gusta Booker Officiating. Interment Houston Memorial Gardens.

Uncle Brandon you are gone but you will NEVER forgotten we love and miss you every time someone say your name it is like i feel a sharp pain in my heart like it is so unreal that you are gone people say it was you time to go and i know i caint question God but soneimes i ask why but..i hope you are waiting on us or time will come hopefuly not to soon cause just to look in your eyes again for one last time is worth more than gold it self hust know i love you we all do i just still hurt

As I gaze at your pictures and replay your videos, I am reminded of your beautiful spirit. I am still in disbelief, but my heart can't help but hurt at the thought of you not being here. I often wonder, with so many evil spirits in this world, why God would take one so kind. Thankfully, I am assured that the God we serve is all knowing. There are no words that can express the pain of Brandon leaving us so early and so suddenly. We had no way of knowing that on 01-16-17 God would whisper to him and say "Mission accomplished, job well done, time to go". But what we do know is that the Sovereign God we serve is in absolute and total control, and His love for us will keep us through these very painful days and weeks and months. Gwen and Marcus and the rest of the family, we share the joy of having had Brandon with us, and the pain of him leaving us. And we share in the knowledge that God's amazing grace will carry us as our hearts mend and are filled instead with the essence of BJ... the memories and the joy and so much laughter. We continue to pray without ceasing with love for each of you.
