CC was a big part of our life in Singapore - my sincerest condolences for his Family~

My condolences to Elsie and family. CC was in my dreams last night, so I had to do some searching. Thank God for the internet! I happen to be his first hire for the Singapore office of McDermott. I resigned and he converted the resignation into an international transfer where I spent 4 wonderful years thanks to him (9/1980 - 6/1984).

My favorite memory of him is our first meal in Singapore. We missed him at the airport, so he came to the hotel the next day to take us to lunch. He took us to a fine restaurant and he did all the ordering since the menu was in Chinese. Soup was first and although it was quite good, I had to ask him what this squarish thing was doing floating in my soup. I had to admit to him that it looked like a piece of turtle shell. He asked for the menu, took another look, and lo' and behold, he had ordered turtle soup for us. Don't worry, we ate it all anyway - just served as a great, funny story from there on out.

Rest in Peace, C.C.
