David and Annette, a New Year has approached. As I read your entries my heart breaks for you but yet my faith has become stronger because of it. I think of you both often. Merry Christmas Annette, David, Natashia and Christopher! It was great to spend Christmas with you Annette and David. We sure did miss Caleb, but we know he was celebrating from above. It brings us great joy to remember all the funny things he used to do and the wonderful memories. We miss him calling Luigi, Linguini (like David does), or just Wuigi. The dogs miss the extra feedings too! Today was a wonderful day and I'm sure Caleb was smiling from above. The girls miss him so much, but really love to talk about all the silly things he used to do. It truely warms our hearts! We love the lamps you gave the girls and will treasure those beautiful pictures of Caleb. Merry Christmas!! As always, you are in our prayers. Love you all!

Caleb was such an amazing little boy who has touched my heart deeply. I lost my father in January and he loved to tell my children bedtime stories. Hi, David and Annette. We love and miss you; and you are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. We had to write and say something about Caleb and the fisherman bracelet. The bracelet was more than a sign that Caleb was transitioning from the earthly to the spiritual realm. It was also a sign of his spiritual mission/purpose, particularly in the last year of his life. Caleb did more to build God's kingdom in four short years than most other people ever manage to accomplish. He was (and is) a shining star. I know you miss him terribly; we do, too. But we are all privileged to witness the continuation of his mission. Thank you for sharing with us on the Web site.

David and Annette, Our family constantly thinks and prays for your whole family. I know I don't have to tell you that life is so fast and it seems that there is never enough time to do the things we want to do. I have thought at least a million times of stopping by but then again I don't want to intrude. I call when I can because I love you guys. I hope we can get together soon. Caleb IS such a sweet angel and James loved him even though he didn't get to see Caleb too much. And James stll asks about dear Caleb. I work with Caleb's Uncle Bob in Jacksonville, and through him, have been blessed to take part in your spiritual journey through Caleb's life. What a truly strengthening experience it was. While I cannot imagine the loss of a child, both of my parents are in heaven now, but they are with me constantly. Dear Ingram's, I think of you all often. I wanted to share this with you: I took Loren to a speech therapist a couple of weeks ago at UTMB-Galveston for an evaluation....we've been having problems understanding her speech. We had a fabulous therapist that evaluated Loren's speech & communication skills. Long story short, there are no development issues. Thank goodness. As we were leaving her office, I looked up on her bulletin board and saw a smiley face with Caleb's name on it. There were no other names on the board. I looked up and smiled.

You do not know me, but I am a friend of your sister Maria. I have had the pleasure of working with her for many years now. She has shared your story of Caleb with me through the months and I've also been reading the website. I have prayed for him all these months as I would listen to Maria update me. I want to tell you what incredibly strong people you are and what an amazing (and incredibly tenacious) little boy you were blessed with to have in your life. I have a son the same age and I can't even begin to imagine what you've had to endure. Unfortunately, since Maria retired, she and I haven't spoken, so I just today found out that Caleb passed and is now with the Lord. I shed tears for your sorrow and pain, but I am relieved for you that Caleb is no longer having to deal with this dreadful disease. I'm sure he has his angel's wings already and is making many wonderful friends in heaven! He is an absolute inspiration to all of us and that no matter what, he was able to greet each and every day of his life with a smile. I will always remember playing peek a boo with you, and seeing how you made everyone smile around you every day. You wholeheartedly served God just as Caleb did in Joshua 14:14. God gave you strength and courage as he did Joshua in Deuteronomy 31:23. I did not know Caleb or his family. I learned of this great little person through a friend of mine. I prayed for him and his family through out his battle and I still pray for him now. I also pray that I can have the strength the faith and the courage that his entire family has had through out all of this.
