Mrs. Adatto,
Your husband was always so kind to me, from the first time we met at First NBC on Prytania Street. He went out of his way to help my husband get an interview with LSU medical school- I could never thank him enough- and he was genuinely pleased when my husband earned his MD. I will keep Dr. Adatto in my heart, and you in my prayers.

Mrs. Adatto, Kelley and I recently heard of Dr. Adatto's passing. Please accept our condolences. He was such a gentle man and a terrific neighbor. Reeves and Richard and I really enjoyed coming out of our kitchen door to find you two coming out of your kitchen door. The meetings on Garfield always left us smiling. I hope that you can find peace as I know that he has. God bless you and your family.

Carl and Adele kindly came to our nephew's wedding reception a few months ago. Carl had been through some tough medical times, but he exuded optimism, celebration and comfort in friends and heritage. He always did.
To back up a few years, you know he painted. Folk art, maybe. One select leaf fallen from among what must have been millions or billions on the trees of Henry Clay, then in a new home on canvas, expressing its own creativity and wonder at this changing world. Slyly passing on the message with a little leaf-wink.
Thank you Carl, and love to your beautiful family.
