I just read of Carol's death in Northwestern's Alumni Columns. I have vivid memories of Carol being the "life" of every party and meeting at our sorority house. My condolances and prayers to her family!

My deepest sorrow for the family. Mrs Hamilton was a wonderful person that was a significant part of my life as a teenager and young man. She was truly kind. I will always remember her.

So sad to hear of Carol's passing. Many wonderful times were shared growing up in Broadmoor United Methodist. She was loved and respected by all.

So very sorry to learn of Carol's passing, she has been in my daily prayers ever since I learned of her illness. I knew her from Byrd High School and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Shreveport, where we worked together on many church activities when we were all young and just having our babies. I loved her wit and her humor, and her kindness. Blessings to her family, may beautiful memories comfort you.

What a treat to have known Carol! She makes me smile! I wish she were still here so I could share her beloved tomatoes with her! I will always think of Carol when we are 'harvesting' our tomatoes....and wishing she were still here to share with her. Such a special person in so many ways! God bless all the sweet family that she leaves behind!

What a beautiful tribute to one who was so well-loved. May Marilyn, Tim, Barrow and John, and their families be comforted by the love Carol returned to each of you and your memories of a life well-lived.
