Hey punk, man I can’t believe I’m writing to you on this, when I just want to pick up the phone and call you. I really don’t know what to say or what can come out without crying….all I know is that you are and still will be the best brother and drinking buddy any sister could ask for. Man I miss you so much. There is not one day that passes that you don’t into my head. Every moment of the day I’m thinking about you. I also just wanted to say thank you….thank you for everything you have done for me. Honestly, I feel kinda empty without you here; a part of me is gone and will never be replaced. I don’t think there is enough room on here for me to explain how it hurt me when the doctor told me you where gone. It was and still is a very bad nightmare that I can not wake up from. I just want you to come back home and come party at my house, cause you know we still haven’t broke in the house yet, I really really want you to be there when we do, though. And I know you will be. May all the wonderful memories of Charlie keep you going. He was such a great guy and friend to Scott and I. We'll cherish the memory of hangin' with him at his Christmas party a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful party in that we were able to see Charlie reunited with all his old buddies/firefighters. GOD is always GOOD. Scott will so miss him. Kinda funny how Scott and Charlie were, when hangin' together. They just had a way with each other unlike no other. Who could ever explain that?
Well, Tiff, you and I have shared so much with each other this past year and our conversations have gotten deep regarding our families. And now we know that these tragedies are the reason it's best that we stay close to our families. You are blessed that you had such a close relationship with Charlie. You always took care of him like you were the big sister and always let him know that you loved him. You were the best sister to him, girl! Well, now little sister, he's going to be watching over you, may that be your peace.

Be Comforted, but also Proud...we are all only here temporarily and Charles chose to do good with his life serving and protecting his fellow man as well as sharing his great love with his family and friends, so I pray that you are all comforted in knowing he was a great man and that you remember the good memories.
