1943-2018
Dr. Charles Maurice Hill, Jr., passed away June 27, 2018 in Tomball, Texas. He was born August 6, 1943 in Bryan, Texas to Charles Maurice Hill, Sr. and Frances McDonald Hill. He attended and graduated from Pasadena High School, Baylor University and UTMB Medical School in Galveston, Texas. He opened his medical practice in Channelview, Texas in 1970 and was one of the original owners of Houston Northwest Medical Center, moving his practice there in 1973. He retired in 2013, and enjoyed spending time with his wife Linda and the entire family
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Sunday,July 1, 2018 and funeral services at 10am Monday, July 2, 2018, both at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Shiloh Cemetery near Normangee, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dr. Hill's name to the American Heart Association.

Dr Hill delivered me. He was my mentor, too. He was blessing to my family and we love him. When I was kid he was my idol. I don’t think I’ll ever look up to/or ever love anyone the way I love him. I thank God that I was blessed to have him and Linda, in my life. God bless Doctor Hill and his family.

Unfortunately I just learned of Dr. Hill’s passing. My family and I were patients of his for a number of years. He delivered my daughter. I appreciated the access to his practice—just walk in and sign a sheet in a notebook. He was always available and willing to talk and answer any questions. He was a real family doctor; hard to find in this era. My he rest in peace.

Just learned of Charlie Hills death through the Baylor Magazine. He was in my class at Baylor, and my husband and I met him when we joined a community orchestra. He delivered our son in 1977. He would have loved the fact that our son went to Baylor where he majored in Aviation Science and after years flying for Continental Airlines, he is now Drayton McLanes pilot. Please accept our sympathy. He was such a good doctor and such a good person as well.

Dr Hill taught me so much about delivering babies in my early years of my career in labor and delivery at Houston Northwest Medical Center. He was such a wonderful Dr who really cared about his patients. You will be missed.

I just want to say that Charlie Hill was a great friend. He always treated others as he wanted to be treated. He gave to others his special gift of care and compassion. We will truly miss a wonderful human being. My prayers go out to Linda and his family for comfort and peace.

Dr. Hill always had a smile on his face when I saw him. He loved his family, Baylor Bears and his dogs. He accomplished so much and was extremely humble. I had the honor of working for his brother and I was honored to have known him. We have lost a very special man and I know he will be taking up the watch over his family with his brother.

He took care of me from the time I was 18 years old till he retired..delivered all 3 of my babies and took care of them as adults. We all loved him so!! Our prayers are with Linda and the family..he will be missed!
