1922-2021
Christoff Columbus Baham was born to Robert and Mathilda Baham on December 13, 1922, and passed away on July 5, 2021 at the age of 98. He lived with his wife Frances more than 70 years in Houston. He served in WWII as Sgt in George Patton's Tank corp and was a Platoon Sergeant. Chris continued with civilian service as a Boy Scout Scoutmaster and other community organizations. He is survived by his wife Frances, sister Blanche and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation beginning at 10:30 Saturday July 17, 2021, with services at 11:30 at the American Heritage Funeral Home; 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr.; Houston, Tx 77038. His final resting place will be with his parents in Loranger, La. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your choice of charity.

Mr. Baham must have had such amazing stories of a life lived through an interesting and turbulent time in our history. To his descendants, you were blessed.

I'm also a follower of McKneely. I am sorry to see another member of the "Greatest Generation" leave us. Although I didn't know Mr. Baham, I am also from Tangipahoa Parish and have also lived in Houston for nearly 50 years. My thanks to him and condolences to his wife and family.
