Life is so precious we're never prepared for the loss of a child. My girls always talk of how the family still gets together for holiday's and such. I so enjoyed seeing everyone at Bailie's birth. May your memories keep your son alive in your heart and that it bring's you joy in time. The pain is unspeakable for now, but the days and nights will get better with time and loving memories. I never knew Chris personally, but I remember fondly his posts on various message boards I frequented. He was always a happy, creative person, and rarely gave any indication that he was sick. He impacted on the lives of many people without ever meeting them in the flesh, me included. I wish his family all the best.

I have no idea what to say. I only knew him from online, as few other people have here, but you can tell he was so active that he has touched many people's lives online without meeting them. I know he is in a better place now, but he was taken far too soon. The world has needs of more people like him.

What a strange, sad thing. Today, you can know a person's mind well, but nothing of their life. I debated with Chris many times online, but had no idea he was ill.
He was an articulate young man with deeply felt opinions. He'll be missed.

Chris had an amazing personality. I believe that it was an honor to have met someone like him while in PTK and experience his character. I never met him in person, I knew Chris from online forums. Even from so far away, in a medium that relies on expressing yourself only text, Chris was always came across as vibrant, intelligent and so passionate about whatever subject he was talking about. He was a bright bright star and will be missed.

My deepest sympathies go out to Chris's family. I talked with Chris a few times this past year during his time as a student at UHCL, and his volunteer spirit really stood out. I know the students and faculty here feel a huge loss. Chris's energy will be missed.

I didn't know him personally, but we used to talk alot on instant messangers and a some web forums.
He shared original digital artwork that he made, let me read drafts of plays that he was writing and had some interesting and enlightening discussions with me.

I was shocked when I heard the news about Chris. I didn't know him but I was privileged to meet his big brother Josh at the services for my step brother Mike. I know all to well what it's like to loose someone close to you at such a young age but, I take comfort in knowing that Mike and Chris are in a most awesome place, more wonderful than we could possibly imagine.

Chris was an amazing friend to have. I am deeply sorry that his family has experienced such a huge loss. I know he will be with you and all his friends in spirit, always.
