Chris and I worked together in the Sohio/BP team to convince BP that the deep water GOM was the place to go. He was very patient in getting me introduced to the GOM provence. We also visited back and forth more recently between Calgary and Anchorage on respective frontier exploration opportunities. I remember him for his exploration excellence, honesty and being straight-forward. We all will miss him.

He was bigger than life in every way. A heart as big as all outdoors! What a loss for all who loved him, and to know him was to love him! I will treasure all those days I worked for him! It was a very special relationship and one I will always cherish. Until we meet again, Chris - I wish you God Speed, and I'll see you tomorrow!
