Chris and I worked together in the Sohio/BP team to convince BP that the deep water GOM was the place to go. He was very patient in getting me introduced to the GOM provence. We also visited back and forth more recently between Calgary and Anchorage on respective frontier exploration opportunities. I remember him for his exploration excellence, honesty and being straight-forward. We all will miss him.

I had known Chris for many years through our work relationships and I will remember him as a person of absolute integrity and committment to others. He was an excellent practicioner of his profession, who was widely respected all around. I will miss him but will always remember him for his wonderful qualities. He was a source of inspiration and I admired him greatly.

He was bigger than life in every way. A heart as big as all outdoors! What a loss for all who loved him, and to know him was to love him! I will treasure all those days I worked for him! It was a very special relationship and one I will always cherish. Until we meet again, Chris - I wish you God Speed, and I'll see you tomorrow!
