Cindy Walker Obituary

Cindy A. Walker, born on December 21, 1949, passed away on December 19, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents, R.D. Walker and Mary Carter, brother Scott Walker, and close friend Faith Eichler. She is survived by sisters Mary Becker, Shoreacres, TX, Pat (Mike) Cudd, Gruver, TX, and Margie Walker, North Richland Hills, TX, nieces, nephews, and close friends Kay Metcalf, Laura Sutherland, Lynn Tauber-Reiner, and Sarah Bottomley.
After earning her Master's Degree in social work from University of Houston, Cindy worked at Hermann Memorial Hospital for 42 years and retired in 2017.
A memorial service followed by a reception will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Cindy requested memorials be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Friends of Music at www.stlukesmethodist.org.
