You are on my mind heavily and my heart is even heavier. I've never known hurt like this. I think of you EVERYDAY and wish I could say one more I Love You, or have one more kiss, just one more embrace or just to hear you laugh. I know it's selfish for me to wish you back here when you are in such a beautiful place, save me a place in Heaven. I love you Mom

Mom, It does not feel like it has been 3 weeks since you have been gone. I feel your presence everywhere. All of my thoughts and decisions are still influenced by you and guided by God. We know you are looking over all of us. We know you are looking over your newest grandson, Ty'Ren, while he awaits his arrival home from the hospital. He already has your strength and will. We miss you so much and it still does not feel like you are gone. I almost expect to see your smiling face or to kiss my spot on your chin. Tell Errol his daughter T'Yanna is graduating this year and I know yall will have first row seats to applaud and be proud of her. I could not have raised her without you mom. My best friend is gone and I look forward to our reunion. Pretty Wings I miss you, I miss you, I miss you!! I'll be looking for you and more signs of you. And remember I love you more! (I miss saying that with you!)

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
