We were deeply saddened to hear of Dale's passing. All of the Houlihans were very dear friends, that the Lord granted us the privlege to call "family" as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time and while we know your loss weighs heavy at present, we pray God's peace and presence lighten your Spirits in the days and months ahead. You know we love you all. Mary B. Stevenson and the Stevenson Family of Fort Walton Beach.

My Dearest Dale. I am having a hard time finding the words because my eyes fill with tears every time I think about you. You and Margaret are SO dear to my family, more than just neighbors, y'all are like grandparents to my children and best friends to me. I miss you terribly Dale. I know Margaret misses you so much but I have to say I must come in a close second. I keep looking out the window expecting to see you or hear your voice. I have so many wonderful memories that will carry me through. I will miss our weekly wine date and listening to you sing. I will keep your Margaret company until the day you two meet again. The last words you spoke to me is for me to beat this Cancer and I am going to Dale, I promise! I love you and miss you sooooooo much and so does my family! The Holidays and Birthdays will not be the same without you :'( I also want to send my prayers to Margaret, Brian, Rachel, and the rest of your beautiful family! We are here any time for each of you! Love, Melissa Russell and Family

Dale's passing was shocking and saddening to Sandy and me. We greatly enjoyed seeing (and having a drink with) him at the Clausen family reunions. I fondly remember Dale, Brian, Helen and Tom visiting our family in Oklahoma and Iowa when we were all kids. While he may be gone, he will live on in our memories.

Death is always at a time when most of us are not prepared emotionally and words never seem enough. Dale was so enjoyable to visit with at the reunion and a great husband to Margaret. My thoughts and prayers are with Margaret and their many friends at this time. With deepest sympathy.
