Damon Lawrence Obituary
He was born in Peterbough, attended Peterborough High School and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1970. He then attended Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth.
He participated in many sports and was best known for his skiing talents in both high school and at Dartmouth College. Damon passed on his love of sports to his two children and he rarely missed their sporting events.
His family includes his wife Elizabeth, his son Brandon, and his daughter Abby, all from Antrim; his mother Louise Lawrence of Peterbrough, his sister Cynthia Lawrence and her husband David Loeb of Harvard Massachusetts, and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father Dr. Charles T. Lawrence in 1999.
For many years Damon served as an acolyte at All Saints Church on Concord Street in Peterborough. His service will be held there on Monday, June 10 at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be on Sunday, June 9 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Jellison Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics at ConVal High School, 184 Hancock Road, Peterborough, NH 03458 or Antrim Fire and Rescue, Clinton Road, Antrim, NH 03440.
