Kathy and family,
I am so very sorry as I just found out today about the loss of Mr. Dan. My mother Rosie and Mr. Dan were in Windsor Houston together. We met almost 3 months ago and at least 2-3 times a week I had very nice conversations with him each and every time. For those few short months I (we) felt very blessed to have had the chance to get to know him. Though our talks were limited I sensed a very intelligent man with many stories from a great well lived life that I loved to listen to. I salute him for his service to our beautiful country as my daddy also fought in WWII. He will dearly be missed as I travel down the same hallway at Windsor that my mama lives now. I will miss his smiling face and great presence. As I read the Guest Book I see he has blessed many lives and was and will always be loved by all. May God Bless you and your family and Peace to you always.

Kathleen, I am so sorry for you on the loss of your dear Father. Your parents were customers of mine, who became friends, for many years. I always looked forward to seeing your Dad come through the door and share a story with me. I feel he had a great life. I am sorry I can't be there, however I am taking care of a friend who has had surgery. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! Laura Murski another John H Reagan High School Graduate!

Dan Fite was my uncle, mentor, honorable and respected man. He did everything with a passion. He lives on, in our hearts with fond memories. He will deeply be missed.
