Rae,Cedric,Darrell Lynn, mom and all my sisters and brothers we mourn together, but we also rejoice in knowing that our all knowing God makes no mistakes and and Darrell is resting in his arms as we speak and breathe. I can still hear him calling my name in that slow calming voice of his. I will miss him so much. He was always there when no one else was to do whatever was needed for me in the absence of my husband while he was overseas and for that we are all so grateful to have had the opportunity to have him in our lives. We love him and we love you all and to God be all the glory.

To the family of Darrell,

As I only learned of Darrell's death on today, I am saddened by this and am very much heartbroken by the manner in which it occurred.

However, I know that God has a plan and He never makes a mistake. May you find strength in knowing that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord' and precious in His sight is the death of one of His saints." Darrell and I once had numerous conversations in regards to his spirituality; therefore, I am convinced that he is now resting in the bosom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May you look to the Hill from whence cometh our help, our help comes from the Lord; He is a mender of broken hearts.

With MUCH heartfelt sympathy and deep concerns,

Serina Y. Mitchell & family

Rae, Darrell Lynn, Sedrick, Mom, Mother, and all my sisters and brothers, family members and friends of Darrell. Know that I feel your pain and am already missing Darrell. He always brought a quiet warm feeling into each room he entered. I always looked forward to him being around and enjoyed his company. As my heart ache, I rejoice as well. Knowing Jesus makes no mistakes and that he knows all, I take comfort in knowing He's in complete control. Much, Much love to each of you and Peace in Our Savior Jesus Christ. Be strong in the Lord and the Power of his Might.
