Darryl G. Chatman departed this life May 28, 2018. Visitation Saturday June 2, 2018 from 9-11am. Funeral 11am. Services will be held at Harvest Time Church 17770 Imperial Valley Dr. Interment Paradise North Cemetery.

Oh my gosh, I cannot believe that Darryl has passed away. I met Darryl and Carol through Lonnie and Wendy Wilson. I started as Matthew and Chadd's preschool teacher and then became their sitter. I will always remember Darryl's deep and contagious laugh. Always quick with jokes, and yet always there for the Wilson family. You loved life and it showed in your personality and how you treated every person who entered your life. You were a remarkable positive man, and you are dearly missed. but always in our hearts.

Big Bro, I cannot believe you are gone. Words cannot express what I am feeling. You were taken from us way too soon. However, GOD's plan is not our plan. With your larger than life spirit and infectious personality you never met a stranger. You were such a great leader, friend, family man, husband, father and brother. You touched everyone you met. Darryl was such a joy to be around. When he relocated to Texas, we kept in touch with phone calls, told jokes and prayed for one another. He'll be remembered most by his laugh and how much he loved his wife and daughter. Olivia was the Apple of his eye. We're praying for strength for the family during this difficult time.

Today is both a sad day and a happy day, sad because of the loss that has occurred but happy because Darryl has reached his final destination in life and is now united with our Lord and Savior! BOOM SHAKA LAKA!

Darryl was larger than life and had such a positive attitude all of the time. I loved watching him watch Olivia play volleyball. He was such a proud papa!! He will be missed so very much. Love to Olivia and Carol.
