Hey Des, its ur "flyin hawaiin", I remember you way back when in elementary. You were always a year ahead of me...always a step ahead. i was hesitant to say anything to you for a long time but then i remembered... Your still only just "a step ahead" in heavan.
You've fulfilled your destiny. Im getting used to not looking for it in the hallways, But knowing that i will again see your smile, keeps a smile on my face.
I/we cant complain for losing an angel, becuase we were more than blessed to ever have one this long. I also just want to thank you for teaching me so much and always bein a big bro.. simply Des. I'll save the rest when i see you.
And to your family, My heart goes out to them just as much as i love you.

We work with Desmond's Auntie Sheila at Broaddus Elementary and all of us here want to let the family know that you are in our thougths and our prayers. I have been reading all the beautiful heartfelt entries to this guest book and Desmond left a great legacy already to be so young. I am so very sorry for your loss, but he is heaven's gain. May God continue to pour out his blessings on each of you.

Desmond, you were truly a trooper. You were sweet, respectful and the kindest youngman I have ever known. I have enjoyed your presence in my classroom, I have enjoyed your respectful comments to me and your classmates. I am truly going to miss you. Desmond was the most nicest gentleman with so much potential and drive to succeed doing just about anything with no stop he was a dear friend of the family who will be soarly missed May god bless his wonderful family and the wonderful memories of this touching sould will live on forever and forever.

Wanda, I wanted to offer my prayers to you and your family at this time. This tragic news would be hard at any time, however, it has to be extremely hard to take at this time of the year. Although I don't think I've ever met you personally, members of TASFAA are like family, and it breaks my heart to know that one of my family members has to go through this. I had art class with Desmond at Bellaire over a year ago and he would always put a smile on my face. He always made me laugh and I'd look forward to talking to him in the halls when we didn't have class. My thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. He will be missed greatly.

this is kimberly spikes, and i just wanted to say that i loved desmond beyond words, he meant so much to me, i cant even explain how i feel in words.
he was such a good kid, always happy, i can honestly say ive never seen him mad.
he was always there for me no matter what, even if i was being mean to him, he was by my side, when i needed a shoulder to cry on, he was there, if i just needed to talk, he was there. i could come to him for anything, and he never left my side.
i was very blessed to have him in my life, and he has forever changed it by being the great person that he was.
to ms. wanda, and mr. hamilton, i just want to let you know that you had a great son, you should be very proud of him, and his truly loved by all. and if there is ever anything you need, and i mean ANYTHING!! im just a phone call away, and ill be right by your side just like he was for me.

Desmond was a great school citizen at Bellaire (he didn't spend time in administrative offices) and we will miss him very much. His passing must mean God wants him in heaven now. To Wanda Williams, Maury Hamilton, Ricquel, Miles, and loved ones: my heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with you.
