Dionicio Borrego Obituary

DIONICIO "DEE" BORREGO, passed away into eternal rest on March 18, 2004. He was born on December 13, 1910 to Manuel and Virginia Borrego in Cuatro Cienegas, Coahuila, Mexico, and had resided in Houston since the age of 10. He served in the Army Air Corp, during World War II and attended The University of Houston. He worked for many years in the appliance and air conditioning business. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister: Irene, brothers: Jesse, Frank, Eddie, and their wives, and an infant daughter. He was a long time member of St. Stephen's Catholic church, The Woodmen of the World, and Sociedad Mutualista Obrera Mexicana. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Hortense, daughters: Stella, Catalina, Carolina, son in law: Rene Martinez, and numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, March 19, 2004 at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 1910 Center Street, at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 20, 2004. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
