Donald, I can't find the words to express how much I'm going to miss your email jokes, the teasing about the weather and just the sound of your voice. You were my little brother who grew up to be my big brother who was always there for me and always made my life better. Will love you forever.

To Don,

Don was family, my Brother-in-Law, and most of all my very good friend. As you go thru life you are most fortunate to count on one hand your true friends. Don will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I will forever miss his company, wit and good natured laughter. While Don and I enjoyed fishing and other activities we were adversaries at the Heart table. All the tit for tat comments and hard play stayed at the table as it should have. We were both SOB's on the table and great friends any other time. Don once told me that when his time came not to morn his passing but be happy he was here. Don good luck in your next life.

Your Friend Tom Yarbrough.

Uncle Donald,

To my one and only maternal uncle…I remember so many happy times with you! The parties at Pop Pop’s and Gram’s with all your children and your sister Bernice’s children were some of the best times I can remember. I even recall that night in Hastings when you told my mother (your sister Rita) that the Grasshoppers you were mixing for her were just “mint ice cream” --- Ha! My mother and I sure had fun walking home that night! I will always remember your love of life and music and will sing one more rendition of “Jambalaya” just for you…see you on the other side and please…give Pop Pop and Gram a kiss from me…

Your niece,

Linda

You gave all of us the best gifts possible -- laughter and love. There are not enough words in a lifetime to express how much you will be missed. I can only hope and pray that we will meet again someday. All my love to you!

Donald, my godfather and uncle, consistently and lovingly made me believe that I was, "the best thing since sliced bread."

Heaven is a better and a "louder" place, Uncle Don, because you are there - singing with Johnny, The Mamas and the Papas, and Peter Paul and Mary.

I send you love,

Niece and godaughter,

Don was always such a delightful man who could make us smile. But even more than that, he was a gentleman - and there aren't many of those left in this world today. Our prayers are with his family - he will be missed by his many Sargent friends.

Dad

I know you found your Blue Skies.

Thanks for being the best Dad a son could ask for. You will always be in my heart and you will always be my favorite singing partner.

Love you always
