Donna was a good neighbor and friend in Sea Isle. We remember spending many weekends sitting under Gene & Donna’s house or ours reminiscing, talking about fishing and just visiting. She was a great cook and her gumbo and pico were second to none. We will be miss her.

Gene,

We were very lucky to know you and Donna. She was always so nice to us and our boys. She always tried to let us know boys would be boys and that they would become nice young men.

You raised two really nice daughters and that alone is quite an accomplishment these days.

We will miss her and hope you find happiness in the great life you shared. We know you will miss her but know that she will be watching out for you.

Tonight is the first time I checked and read my Yahoo e-mail about Donna. Seeing her birthdate, January, 1945, 6 months before my own, and the fact that I recently lost my elderly mom, brings the perspective of life and death very close to me, personally. I pray for comfort for Donna's close friends and family. I am presently in my mom's house on Ave. G, within 2 miles of where we were at So. Ho. High and 4 blocks from where I grew up on Texas Ave. It's like memory lane around here. I give my best to you all.

Donna was one of a kind. I feel so

priveledged to have maintained a close relationship with her through

the years.

Her sence of humor and positive, up-beat attitude were infectious. She radiated a love, joy, and peace that

were a blessing in my life.

The world has lost, but heaven has

gained a truly beautiful person. She will be greatly missed.

Gene, the enormity of your loss is

immeasurable. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you.

Dear Gene and Family: I was so blessed to have recently come in contact with Donna and Gene after so many years. I was able to witness the love and respect of those two sole mates who I knew in high school. I will truly miss Donna. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Gene and family I want to thank you for lovingly taking care of an angel. She express to me her love for all of you. I am praying for you all to have the strength to go on without her and to put your faith in God knowing that he is taking precious care of Donna.

Gene, I have never met you but I wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. We were neighbors of Donna Lynn back in the '50s. She was a friend of my sister Billie Robertson. I can remember as a boy having a crush on Donna Lynn, I thought she was very beautiful. You have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Gene and family,

We have lost a great warrior in the fight against cancer. Donna had such a wonderful upbeat, positive attitude that always amazed me. I didn't stay in contact enough recently and I will always regret that because she was always a blessing. She was always such a beautiful person inside and out.

I'm thankful that you were so loyal and loving, Gene. You were a gift to her. I will be praying for your comfort and guidance in living without your lifemate, your best friend.

My sincere sympathy in the loss of a dear sister-in-law and best friend. She will be missed greatly. I shall never forget the fun times we shared and the heart-to-heart talks. She fought a hard battle and was so brave and still tried to be her jolly self. My praise to Gene for being there for her whether it be going for appointments, changing dressings, by her side during chemo and radiation or whatever needs she may have had. She loved him very much and wanted him by her side at all times and he was there. Her girls and son-in-law are to be praised also for their loving care for their mother and being there for their dad. Donna we loved you very much and you will be missed so much but never forgotten.

Donna Lynn was not only my Aunt she was my name sake. Her Brother (my Dad) thought so much of her that he wanted me named after her. Donna was so much like her mother in looks and her manor. She always make you feel welcome and made you laugh. Donna will be missed very much by us all.

Donna was very special to me! I loved being around her. She always, always had everyone of Stephanie's friends laughing! We seemed to each have one of many special names given by her. She will greatly be missed by all.
