Dr. Sherrill brought me into this world August 31, 1966. Over the span of my childhood years I had to visit him several times for ear aches, tummy aches, etc. He would look at me and ask what was the matter. I can still see his face when I would explain what was hurting. He listened ever so intently when I would say "My foot hurts when I move it like this" (and then I would give him a demonstration). He would ALWAYS come back with the answer "Well, I have a remedy for that....don't move your foot like that." I remember the humor and appreciate it more now than I did when I was little.

Dr. Douglas Sherrill ("Uncle Doug")- You will be sorely missed by all the lives you have touched. You were such a loving; caring; giving individual, and were loved by your family for your unconditional care and love. You will never be forgotten and will live on in our hearts forever.
Thank you so much, and God be with you throughout eternity. You deserved it !!
I loved and respected you so much !
You did so much for me and the rest of our family and we all loved you. Always so kind to us, and, we should have done the same for you. It just did not happen that way. I hope you knew how much we appreciated you. You never refused any care for us and saved my life when I had my major auto accident !! You will always be in my heart and memory. GOd bless you my sweet Uncle Doug !! Now you can rest... hope you are FISHING !!!
