Dad,
It seems that when we were together, I could never tell you enough just how much I loved you. Now that you’re gone, I wish so much I could hear you say just once more, “I love you too, son”. My life will never be the same without you dad, but I’ll always know that you’ll be near. Thank you for your love, your patience and your inspiration…
I love you dad

Dad - I miss you so very much. You have been my anchor in life. You taught me strength, laughter, love and faith. Words fail to tell what you mean to me. I look forward to the day when we will all be together again. Laughing, loving and making music!!! Love, Cary

A man of smiles and kind words. That is how I remember my father-in-law, and how lucky I am. I never heard him say a harsh word and was always encouraging no matter how grim the situation appeared. It's hard for me to find the words to express how his love touched my family's lives and how much respect he had from us. He was a majestic man and I know that his presence is just as majestic in heaven and he is waiting on all of us to be with him. Love you Mr. T. Miss you!!

It has been such a pleasure and a blessing to spend time with the Teeple family. God was very gracious to allow me to work so closely with Doug over the years and enjoy a lasting dear friendship. I will always smile when I think of his love for the children and his ability to touch their lives with his gentleness, wit, and often his music. Our loss is Heaven's gain!

Uncle Doug was truly wonderful....as my brother Dave stated, memories flood with his laugh, smile, strength of will and courage. So much rich history runs through his life and his talent, as well. His sis was our mom and the two of them were marked by Jesus, along with the exemplary of grace that God gives in tough times. To be honest I don't want him to be gone....not for his closest family and not for me. In the presence of the Lord there is fulness of joy and at His right hand there are pleasures forevermore....that's what God's Word states. We will see you soon, Uncle Doug. To his wife and children my love and prayers always....you lived with a great man....much of whose life was never told in full.

What can I say? He was my Uncle!! The best ever - to be sure. He opened the doors for me to a life-long music career. His tenderness, openness, love and constant optimism was unique. My memory book is filled to its max with those wonderful years growing up with my Uncle Doug. We miss you here but will join you some day soon . . and then we can make music for eternity!

I don't even know how to express my thoughts, words do not come to my thinking. I loved Mr. T with a deep love, he was the best father-n-law that I could have ever been blessed with. May I grow up to be filled with at least half of his character. I am eternally grateful to him and Mrs. T for allowing me to be a part of their family and for sharing Mike with me. God has truly blessed our marriage and grandpa you play a big role in that blessing.
You will be missed here on earth, but someday, we will see you again when we too our taken home to be with our Lord.

I was so saddened to read Cary's email to me notifying me of Mr. Teeple's passing. I remember him very well having spent many hours at the house back in high school. He was a wonderful man. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. It is my hope that your fond memories and your own faith in God will gently guide you through your grief. God bless you.

Dear Teeple family,
I know "Mr. Teeple" will truly be missed. He was such a loving, gracious, and kind man. We have great memories of fellowship, prayer time, and singing along with Mr. Teeple playing the guitar. I'll never forget his Hawaiian song and dance. ( ha ha) He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. I miss not being around him in these last years, however your family is often on my heart and in my thoughts. I also remember and appreciate Mr. Teeple's encouragement in the things of the Lord when I was a young Christian. I love you all. Not sure yet if I can work details to allow me to come to the service. As God is so faithful, I know He will comfort and strenghten you as you experience daily, the loss of your dad, husband, and grandpa.
