Edith Pruett Obituary
Edith Louise Pruett was born at Goose Creek, Texas, on January 10, 1916, and passed into eternal rest December 14, 2010. Edith is preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert Douglas Pruett (passed November 30, 2010); an infant son, Doyle Ray; daughter, Edith Elaine; eldest son, Donald Lee; grand-daughter, Donna Lorene. She is survived by two sons: Herbert Wayne Pruett and wife Joan, of Spring, Texas; Alfred Leon Pruett and wife Cindy, of Nacogdoches, Texas; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Edith and her beloved husband, Douglas, were wed on October 16, 1937. They cherished and supported each other through life's joys and sorrows for 74 wonderful years.
Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday, December 18, at Brookside Chapel of Chimes followed by funeral service at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.

You will always be in my heart and memories. You accepted me as family and a gift like is so incredible. I will cherish you and Great Grandpa Pruett as I will cherish Grandpa Don for loving me no matter what. You were all such inspirations in my life and made me want to be a better person. Thank you so much for everything. I will love you always.
