Elouise Dennison

Elouise Foley Dennison, age 94, died November 29, 2011 in Liberty, Texas. She was born January 10, 1917 in San Augustine, Texas, the seventh of eight children. Her parents were Mary Willie Sims Foley and Hugh Foley. She graduated from Montgomery High School in 1933 and from Baylor University in 1937 with a B.A. Degree in English. She married George Felton Dennison on August 5, 1938.
Elouise and Felton had three children, Gary Felton Dennison, Elouise Ann Dennison Normand and Melanee Carol Dennison Mowery (Cliff), as well as a godchild, Gay Wesley Warren Gaddis (Lee).
Preceded in death by her parents, husband and seven siblings, Elouise is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2 at Allison Funeral Home at 1101 N. Travis St., Liberty, TX. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3 at First United Methodist Church, 539 Main Street, Liberty, Texas and the burial service at Cooke Memorial Cemetery.
