Dear Helen,I didn't know Steve until I started going to the bank for coffee. I found him to be very interesting and very honest. He is missed by us and all the guys at the coffee meeting at the bank. Every day someone brings up things that Steve said or did.

...Tana, my prayers are with you and your mom in this time of your sorrow. I know that it is so very hard to part with one so caring and loving that gave you so many fond memories. Please try to remember and cherish that Ernest was very well liked and loved by all who knew him. He was fortunate to have such a long productive, healthy life with beautiful, caring children to carry on his love to help others. He touched and help make better thousands of young lives with his work with the Clear Creek School district. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all of those who he met and helped in so many great ways and in the end that is all that anyone can ask for. The Angels have taken back into their arms a great man. May God bless Ernest for all of his work here.

Dear Helen and Tana: Steve was my friend and helped me a lot while I served on the School Board. He was a professional and gentleman in every respect.Everyone who served while Steve handled the school finances knew that they could get the true picture from him. God bless you.
