Ethan Jacob Cole of Houston, Texas passed in the early hours this morning, having been struck by an oncoming vehicle on Sunday while giving aid to a motorist in his congregation. Taken at 33 yrs with so much yet to give, Ethan lived a life focused on safety, diligence, and service both in his professional life as a CSP as well as in the community where his selfless efforts touched the lives of many.
Ethan is survived by his mother, Carolyn, his father, Benjamin, and the true love of his life, Maria Dimitrova, for whom he waits patiently to be reunited. May god bless and fiercely protect those he leaves behind.

We couldn't believe our ears when we heard of this tragedy. Carolyn, Ben, we are so sorry for your loss. I´ll never forget the first time I saw Ethan. Chad and I were riding in the hills and this hothead comes flying past us. Chad made chase to give him a piece of his mind and the two rode circles round each other for an hour. Somehow they became friends for life and were high-fiving and shoulder punching, covered in mud and dust. Well I head over to see what is going on and off comes this muddy helmet and I see a flop of blond hair and electric blue eyes and a smile as wide as you can imagine, "Hi, I´m Ethan" I´ve loved that man ever since.
Ethan, we will miss you every minute you are apart, but in faith we´ll meet again. I expect you will say "Hi".

My one, you will always be in my heart. I will never forget our special memories we created; the love letters you were reading for me, because your writing was not that clear for me; waking you up every morning; our long conversations; telling me ''I love you'' at least 20 times per day; telling me that you have never felt that feelings and love before (same for me to you); your charming smile, your beautiful blue sparkly eyes when you were starring at me; your kindness to everyone; your big heart; your tender voice.
Life is not fair to take such a good and valuable person like you, my boy. Everything reminds me of you. I wanted to tell you so many more things, but we didn't have enough time. Of course I would say ''YES'' to your question, you didn't have to hesitate about that and to delay asking it. You would make me the happiest girl on the planet. I was the happiest girl even before that, having you in my heart and feeling that strong love for you. I hope you are reading somehow the messages that I am sending you every day. I feel that you are close to me, I see so many signals, I know that this is YOU!
If only I was able to turn back the time (whatever that costs me), I would ask you to make plans together for that Sunday...
You will always belong. One day we will meet again on the other side and noone will be able to separate us! I miss you so so much!
