Our condolences to you, Diane and your family. Alice Ely, Gene's step-mother spoke of Gene so often and we were so glad to personally meet him and you, Diane at one of the Grave's Family Reunions. We wish you the best and have you all in our prayers.

Gene was not just a friend, but also a really intelligent man. He was one of the most prepared persons that I have met. His willingness to share his knowledge and time with others will remain in everyone's hearts and minds. He will not be forgotten. Rest in peace, Gene.

Gene was a friend of my brother in Libya and after he moved to Houston, a friend of ours. Gene was a very intellegent guy who made friends easly and was fun to be around. We would eat a hot dog lunch at James Cony Island when I made one of his SIG meetings at Hal-PC. Our families have know each other for many years. Gene will be missed by many.

Gene brought more love and happiness into my sister's life in six short years than many people experience in a lifetime. It has been an incredible blessing to know and to love Gene not only as my brother-in-law but as a friend. Six years were just not enough, but we can take comfort in knowing that we will all spend eternity together in the presence of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
