Flora "Peggy" Hildreth Ph.D.

FLORA "Peggy" BASSETT HILDRETH, PhD., 79, passed away on November 17, 2001 in Nasau Bay, Texas. Peggy was born May 24, 1922 in New Orleans, La., to William and Suzanne Fournet Bassett. Peggy was a professor at San Jacinto College South Campus for ten years. She attended college at Sacred Coeur College in Louisiana and later at UCLA where she received her PhD. Before her marriage she was a flight stewardess for Pan America out of New Orleans to Mexico and Honduras. On June 24, 1950 she married William Wesley Hildreth, PhD. She is survived by her husband William and daughters Eleanor "Nan" Hildreth of Houston, Dr. Elizabeth "Buff" Hildreth, DVM, of Richmond, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be Tuesday, November 27, 2001 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Catholic Church 18223 Point Lookout Dr, Nassau Bay, Texas.
