Frank S. Yelin, 83, of Houston passed away on July 22, 2022. Born in Montreal, Canada. Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Vietnam. Neurosurgeon in Houston for 29 years. A curious and adventurous soul, Frank was a life-long learner, traveler and lover of life. With his wife Linda he visited 164 countries. Frank is survived by his wife, 3 children, and 4 grandchildren.

Dr. Yelin saved my life in 1982 and again in 1989. I am saddened to just now know of his passing. He was the most brilliant and kind doctor I've known. I am now 72 and would not have been able to have a great life without his brilliance in neurosurgery. Throughout my life, I have thanked God for him many, many times. I cherish the memory of him.

So very sorry for your loss. We just found out. Linda and Frank also made an adorable and connected couple. I am sure linda and the family have many wonderful memories that will carry them thru this difficult grief period. Grief is love. He was a dedicated and focused surgeon. That was a gift to admire. May his memory of your life with him carry you all through out your own Future endeavors.
