Gail Rosenthal
08/14/1941 - 03/12/2025
Gail Ann (Gale) Rosenthal of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025 at the age of 83. She was born on August 14, 1941 in Houston Texas where she grew up and attended Lamar High School and Rice University. She worked over the years as a History teacher and later as a School Counselor for the HISD. She was actively involved in the Junior League of Houston and SHREWS, among other groups.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Rosenthal. She is survived by her stepson, Lawrence Rosenthal and his spouse, Robin Rosenthal and her grandchildren, Gabriel, Matthew and Stephanie. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Vivian Rosenthal. The family would like to thank the staff at the Traditions of Buffalo Speedway for the care and compassion they showed Gail.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St. in Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Gail's honor to the Alzheimer's Association, Houston Chapter or to a charity of your choice.
