Gary Hall Obituary
1949-2017
Gary Lynn Hall, of Houston, passed away on Sunday, the 5th of November 2017.
A more specific and detailed obituary will be published in the Friday's edition.
A memorial service is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 10th of November, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road in Houston. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception and further celebration of Gary's life at a venue to be announced during the service.

Hard to believe 4 years has passed since Gary passed. He, and Wayne pop up in my memories occasionally. We three shared many experiences in our younger lives on Pine and Mesquite Streets!

We are so very sorry for your loss. We had the pleasure of meeting your amazing family years ago and have so many wonderful memories we will always cherish from the ranch. You both treated us so special.
We have never met such a wonderful, wise, generous, loving couple as the two of you. The love Gary had for his family was paramount. What a great example.
Gary will truly be missed but will live in all the hearts and lives he touched forever.
May God grant you peace and understanding during this very difficult time.

I am so saddened by the loss of Gary. It was a pleasure to have been his pilot and friend. I have many great memories of the ranch, and trips all over the country. Gary, Ollabelle and the boys are a family that I enjoyed knowing. May God give you strength in this difficult time.

Growing up next door to the Hall's gave me some of the warmest memories of my life. They were kind and generous and included me in so much of what they did.

The year 2017 was lucky for me since I got acquainted with Gary walking our dogs at Pumpkin Park in Houston. I was so impressed by his background and his accomplishments in life. His love for family was first and foremost. I remember when he had Preston's twins over to spend the night with their dog, Ruby and he said ..."we had five hearts beating in the bed!" My life is better for having known him, despite how brief. I send heartfelt condolences to Ollabelle and the rest of the family.

GARY and I were only 2 days apart in age. I went from 1st grade all through school with this fella. Gary was a friend to all; smart; outgoing; handsome; and I'm honored to have called him friend. I know he must have had a plethora of friends. My heart goes out to Wayne, Ollabelle, the boys and their families at this tough time. We will always help keep his memory alive.
