George Mulqueen Obituary

George F. Mulqueen, Jr., of Houston, TX, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on April 12, 1934, to George F. Mulqueen, Sr. and Dorothy Cogswell Mulqueen.
He was a longtime member and deacon at Second Baptist Church Woodway Campus in Houston. Memorial Services will be held there on September 5, 2025, at 1:00 P.M in the Hankamer Chapel, 6400 Woodway, Houston, TX 77057.
George was proceeded in death by his parents; and stepson, Kyle Killough. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Lou Beth Mulqueen; his children, Susan Hetzler (Dale), Robert Mulqueen (Esther), Carol Fluster (Herbert), James Mulqueen (Bobbi), Barbara Kraus (David), stepsons Kelly Killough (Gail) and Keith Killough (Heather); 14 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George's name, may be sent to Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Drive, Houston, TX 77057 or a charity of your choice.
