Griff Walker, 18, of Houston, passed away on Tuesday August 9, 2011. He was born on Tuesday March 9, 1993 in Houston, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00PM Sunday August 14, 2011. A Memorial service will be held on Monday August 15, 2011 at 10:00AM in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

To Griff Walker. I still remember those three years in GSG together at Lanier. Though it was just those three years, I believe that each person we ever meet on this Earth helps to make us a little more the people we are today. Griff left us too soon. We suppose it is not meant for us to understand why. Perhaps it is enough just to know that Griff was part of an amazing and loving circle of family and friends.
Griff's light shined only for a little while, but shine it did as you guys know better than any of us.
May you find comfort knowing that Griff is at rest and Griff is at peace. We take comfort to know that Griff's light will shine on in those of us that knew and loved him.
