HUBBARD LEE BLANKS

BLANKS, Hubbard Lee, 72, of Dillwyn, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010, at his home. He was born in Buckingham County on May 31, 1938, to the late Edward Lyle and Nell Baird Blanks. Mr. Blanks was a retired contractor employee for the Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Annette Reynolds Blanks; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and George Christian; a sister, Mattie Bell Gilliam and husband, L.P.; and brother, Jimmy Blanks and wife, Sandra, all of Dillwyn. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9, at the Dunkum Funeral Home, in Dillwyn.
