Jack and Wanda were very good to us as new golfers in the 'early days' at Pecan Grove.
Wanda, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

I first met Jack in 1959. He had a furniture store and I was a rep for a furniture mfg, making my first sales call in Houston. He said he heard of the line, gave me an order and we have been friends ever since.
As time went on as friends we realized we had so much in common. We went on whitewing hunts in the valley, fished out of Galveston, and oh yes LOTS of golf. I was playing with him when he had his only "hole in one". You can imagine the smile and laughter from him.
Later in our relationship, after we both retired from the furniture business, we formed a partnership as golf reps. We sold any thing anybody would give us :) We traveled from Florida to California for shows with Texas and Lousiana as our territory. We spent many hours in the car talking and enjoying what we were doing. We played every golf course we passed, loving every minute of it.
I will always remember Jack as a true Gentleman, a wonderful and loving family man, loving Father, loving Husband and a DEVOUT CHRISTIAN.
I will miss Jack tremendiously and I am sure he will be teeing off on the great golf course in heaven soon as he can get a tee time.
with friendship

I too will miss Jack and know he is heaven bound. Thank God for his and Van's good friendship. That doesn't happen to many people.
May God give the family the faith, strength and courage to live without their loving Jack.
