Jacqueline Pohl-Worth Obituary

JACQUELINE POHL-WORTH, Houston, TX and formerly of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away on September 18, 2004, in Houston, TX. She was 53. Jacqueline Pohl was born May 23, 1951, at Sioux Falls, SD, to Russ and Irma (Peterson) Pohl. She was raised in Sioux Falls where she graduated from Lincoln High School in 1970. She attended Nursing School in Sioux Falls and Houston, TX. For a period of time, Jacque lived in California. Following her return to Houston, she married Dr. Fred Worth. Jacque worked as a nurse and Practice Administrator. A cherished event in her life, her daughter, Alexis St. John Worth was born on November 19, 1992. Blessed with a generous personality, Jacque was always concerned about the needs and wants of those around her. She took great pleasure in giving. She loved animals and enjoyed caring for her cats. In her free time, Jacque enjoyed gourmet cooking. Jacque had a compassionate and genuine spirit and was a complete joy to all that knew her. A woman of solid faith, Jacque held her Lord close to her heart. Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Alexis and Dr. Fred Worth, Houston, TX; parents, Russ and Irma Pohl, Sioux Falls, SD; sister, Jane Giagni, her husband, Edward, and their daughter, Chelsea, Evergreen, CO; and several cousins and relatives. Private family services will be held in Sioux Falls, SD at the Hills Of Rest Mausoleum. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a luncheon and fellowship at noon, Friday, at Prairie Hills Covenant Church, Sioux Falls, SD. Memorials for Jacque may directed to Prairie Hills Covenant Church, 2500 S. Powderhouse Road, Sioux Falls, SD, 57110. Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD, 57104, is in charge of arrangements.

I am sorry to hear of the loss Jacque. May God grant you and Alexis peace. I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I am sure Jacque is dancing with the angels.
