I worked with James at Southern Pacific Railroad back in the late fifties. James was a good friend and we had lots of fun roaming the woods and shooting. Sadly we drifted apart when I sent into the army and my wife Mildred and I always missed him and Elvira. Rest in peace old friend.

I am so very sorry for your loss. James will be greatly missed. I remember him playing the accordion and it seemed so easy for him and almost like magic that he could make such beautiful music come from that instrument. He and Elvira were the picture of a perfect family with two beautiful children. May God comfort you in your loss. Love and prayers to all of you.

So sorry to hear about the loss of James. It has been a long time since I was able to see James, but looking at the videos, it doesn't seem that long when I was watching him play his accordion. He was such a pleasant man, always had time to talk and ask about family. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this time.

James Strack was one of my classmates at Klein ISD. We played basketball together in jr. high & football in high school. James always blessed us when he played his accordian. He was quiet talented. James was what we call good people. He was honest and straight forward.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Elvira and the family during this difficult time. May the Lord bless and comfort you.
