"JB" and I shared many years at TTA, TXI and Continental airlines; years as a mechanic and years in management. We also worked in the Masonic quarries together. It was always a pleasure to share time with "JB, " as he was such an inspiration to everyone. He always had a mental or manual solution to every problem. He was looked up to by every mechanic and supervisor whether in his department or not. "JB" is missed every day of our lives, because there are not many left today with his qualities.

I met Slim when I joined Texas International Airlines in 1973. He was a big man with a big voice and scared the heck out of me until I got to know him. He expected the best from you at work and let you know if you were slacking. We became very good friends over the years. I appreciated his teasing manner and respected him a great deal. He was a sweatheart and will be missed.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Slim's family. We were coworkers at Texas International Airlines. I will always remember him with a smile.

"Slim" was a one of a kind.
He gave me my first promotion at Texas International Airlines. A big bear of a man with a heart of gold.

What a wonderful gentleman "Slim" was. I met him at Texas International Airlines in 1974, where I held my first airline job - working in the offices located over the hangar. Slim's ability to make people laugh, his teasing, his mild manner, and his huge smile made me feel right at home! I hold "Slim" in the highest regard and, as in the past, I will always think fondly of him in the future. He left many of us with lasting memories What a great legend and what a great friend he was to all! Blessings to his family.

I had the pleasure of being a fellow employee with "Slim" for 31 years
at TTA, TXI and Continental. We also shared Masonry for those many years of camaderie. As Men, as Masons, as friends, as veterans and
as TTA Mechanics and Managers.
May God Bless you in the loss off a family cornerstone.
