Graveside services for JERRY ANDERSON COATES, JR., 79, of Conroe, will be held Saturday, June 22, 2002 at 10 a.m. in Casa Cemetery in Casa, AR. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 19, 2002 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home, Conroe, TX. Mr. Coates was born December 8, 1922 in Casa, AR and passed away June 18, 2002 in Conroe. He was a member of Panorama Lions Club. Mr. Coates was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force having served in WWII in the 8th Air Force, 401st Bomb Group and the 614th Bomb Squad. Survivors: Jerri Ann Coates Sanders of Conroe and Christi and husband Ken Grandstaff of Thurmont, MD. Grandchildren: Shannon Jay Sanders of Corrigan, TX; Denise Renee Sanders of Chicago, IL; Kyle Anderson Bratcher of Dallas, TX; and Jason Glynn Bratcher of Forney, TX. Great grandchildren: Carrie Lynn Sanders of Apopka, FL; Michael Jay Sanders of Corrigan, TX; Tanner Glynn Bratcher of Forney, TX. and Mackenzee Hannah Bratcher of Forney, TX.
