JESSIE LINNETT Obituary

JESSIE ANN BATTY LINNETT passed away peacefully at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston on, May 7, 2010 with her family & friends by her side, after a valiant 2-year battle with cancer.She is survived by husband of 32 yrs., Carl David Linnett, & Son, Kenneth William Linnett, Sisters, Brothers, & In-Laws Marylin & James Jackson, Kenneth Batty Jr., Carol & Howard VanKirk, Gabina & Gregory Wilm, Leo & Patricia Batty, Brother in Law, Bill Shaefer, Daniel & Edie Linnett, 16 nieces & nephews, 14 great nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Cyril & Imelda Angelina Batty. Also preceded in death by adoptive aunt & uncle Muriel (Boody) & Rockby Batty , sister in law, Diane Linnett Shaefer.Born on May 15, 1951 in Belize City C.A., she graduated from St.Catherine's Academy & LSU New Orleans. She taught at Palotti H.S. Belize, & later worked for the TX Workforce Commission For 27 yrs.Jessie Ann was a loving & devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt & friend. Our loss is heaven's gain & nothing can take away our precious memories of her.Memorial Mass will be held at St.Theresa's Catholic Church 705 St. Theresa Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77478, Sat. May 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
