JoAn Dunn Obituary
JoAn was preceded in death by the love of her life, Dwain, her parents, and two brothers. She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Joan Dunn, and her daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Tom Van Matre. She was blessed with four grandchildren, TJ Van Matre and wife Kendra, Traci Van Matre, Matthew Dunn, and Jessica Dunn. She also leaves behind a wonderful sister-in-law, Harriet Null, and a number of nieces and nephews. JoAn was a long-time resident of Augusta Pines in Spring, Texas, and a faithful member of Christ Church United Methodist. She was an avid golfer and loved to play and travel with Dwain. JoAn leaves behind many dear friends and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15th at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 16th, at Houston National Cemetery on Veterans Memorial Drive. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Christ Church United Methodist, The Woodlands, Texas, or Embracing Hospice, Conroe, Texas.

Tom and Terri,
I am very sorry to hear about your mother passing away. She was always very kind and treated people very well. I can remember even as a kid she always had an encouraging word and was always interested in you as a person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Ben and I were saddened when we heard about Joan. She was a beautiful lady and loved by so many. She had such a positive outlook on life and always had a smile for everyone.
We are leaving for Ruidoso, NM, on Monday; therefore will not be able to attend the services. Please know that all of you are on our minds and in our hearts.
