Dear Mary and Olga, There are gifts, even in very sad events. I was able to see you and Joe, give you hugs, talk, laugh, just be with you, in September 2008. We were able to be together after so much time had passed, because we were having my mom's funeral services. Who knew? My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. As I mourn that my godfather Joe has died, I also say thank you to God,for having had him in my life! Rest in peace! and only swing at the good stuff!! With much love, Sylvia Martinez

Dear Mary and Olga,
Our hearts go out to you in this time of sadness. We were blessed to have had Compadre Joe in our lives...he was one of the kindest, most generous people we've ever known. We all will miss him very much. David was so looking forward to spending time with his Godfather this year on the softball field. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye until we see him again. May the memories of Comp sustain you in your time of grief. We love Compadre Joe and we love you.
