John Beverly Moon, Jr.
John Beverly Moon, Jr., 85, longtime resident of Houston, passed away peacefully, at home on October 15, 2015.
He was born in Dallas, Texas on December 26, 1929, to parents, John Beverly Moon, Sr. and Ellen Wyatt Moon. He attended Texas Country Day School, the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity, and graduated from Trinity University, with a Bachelor of Science degree, after serving in the United States Army.
John spent most of his career in sales at Wyatt Industries, formerly Wyatt Metal and Boiler Works, founded by his grandfather, William Johnson Wyatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nancy Moon McCombs. He is survived by his son and loving caregiver, John Michael Moon; his brother, William Johnson Moon; his former wife, Ann Ferguson Moon; and other family and friends.
John loved growing up in Glendale, California in the '40's and loved watching old movies on Turner Classic Movies. He was a fan of University of Texas football.
According to his wishes, there will be no services. Remembrance Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice
