I am so saddened by the news of John’s passing. I was a coworker of John’s at Fluor and a fellow car enthusiast. John was one of the most unique guys I’ve ever met. He was never a follower and always had his own interesting thoughts on life. I will cherish having known John and miss him greatly.

My thoughts and prayers go out to JoLynn and the rest of John’s family.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I met John while working at Fluor. He was a great person to work with and I enjoyed the conversations we would have. He is sorely missed.

John and I go back 17 years, meeting through drag racing - his cars were always faster than mine. My most memorable fun-time was MAY '99 when he and I went to Texas World Speedway to visit with his buddy Ron Adee who was competing in Car & Driver's One Lap of America. On a whim, John and I decided to follow the One Lap group to Memphis and on to Road Atlanta, which required non-stop driving thru the night from event to event. We picked up some toiletries and clothes at a WalMart. John's unselfish willingness to heip others will be missed by all. Oh and John, please have the dragstrip and racetrack finished when I/we get up there.

I met John several times mostly in the context of his love of fast cars and his friends Byron Kirkpatrick and Chris Ramey. He was always a very nice guy and always very enthusiastic about his hobbies. My prayers are also with his family and he will be missed by everyone I know as well.

I am very saddened by the sudden loss of such a fine young man and friend.
I only worked with John for six (6) months at Commonwealth, but I greatly enjoyed that short time.

Prayers and hugs to all..

While I did not personally know John, I do consider myself a friend of his wife, JoLynn. His sudden passing was a shock to all of us that know her.

My thoughts and prayers go out to JoLynn and the rest of the family during this most difficult time.

I never got to spend as much time together as I would have liked, but John and Jolynn are two of my favorite people in the world. John will be sorely, sorely missed. He had a big impact on me and my life. I guess the best thing I can say on this sad day is that he sure made a good ride for himself, which is all we can really ask for in this life!

When I think of John, I remember the days when we'd all go to Sonny's restaurant. John was a sweet, remarkable, down to earth guy with an impeccable taste in cars. I know he is in heaven now, as he has done all that God has called him to do. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with Jolynn, and his family. May God bless you with peace. Know that John is safe in the mansion God has prepared for him. Those that live in the Lord never see each other for the last time.

With our deepest sympathies,
James and Toni Springer
