While almost 10 years the younger, and being from the UK, I truly enjoyed working with Joe at Exxon, he was warm, open, kind and with a good sense of humor. In retirement despite our living on Galveston Island and Joe having property there, and both he and we having a son named Brendan, my wife and I (to my chagrin) only once had occasion to reconnect. That occasion was in DiBellos. My wife and I entered carrying our first grand child, Jordyn. Joe and son Brendan were already there and we stopped and chatted a bit. Joe commented on the baby and knowing his sense of humor I said... ÿes ...it was a bit if a retirement surprise !!.
So sorry, we know he will be sorely missed but he led a good life.

I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" (Isaiah 61:1, 2) sustain your family during this challenging time. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

So sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences to the family may you find comfort in knowing that others share your sorrow. Take comfort in knowing that God keeps those who fall asleep in death in his memory because they are precious in his eyes Psalms 116:15.
